Video: Alex, Geddy Tour Rolling Stone Headquarters
Alex and Geddy take a walk down memory lane at Rolling Stone headquarters in New York City. The magazine has a hallway lined with every published cover since its launch in 1967.
The two stopped at the first issue of the magazine, with John lennon on the cover. They later stopped at the cover with the iconic photo of Lennon and Yoko Ono, which came out the day Lennon was shot outside his Dakota apartment.
Some of the other covers of note feature Keith Moon, which Geddy said reminded him of the day Neil tried out for the band, and Led Zeppelin, which reminded Alex of the time he met Jimmy Page, his biggest guitar influence, and Robert Plant backstage at a show. He mentioned how friendly the two of them were.
