Sandyhook Charity: Bid on Signed Neil Drumhead
Thanks to a head’s up on Rush is a Band we learn that Rush has donated one of Neil’s used drumheads, signed by him, and a pair of used drum sticks as part of an auction to benefit the victims of the Sandyhook shootings in Newtown. The drumhead is a Remo and the sticks are from the Pro-Mark Neil Peart Autograph Series. So far there have been 24 bids for the drumhead and sticks. Read the bid history or make a bid.
There’s also a signed Rush 8×10 glossy band picture that’s up for bid. It has 21 bids so far.
Other artists who have items in the auction include the Eagles, Elton John, Taylor Swift, Colbie Caillat, and John Mayer. About two dozen artists in all have donated.
The charity running the auction is called Music for Newtown and the auction runs all this week. It started yesterday.
